a little update before i hide under a rock until finals are done.

it's cold here!!

im pretty bad at decorating for christmas.

or maybe im pretty bad at having enough money to buy pretty decorations.

HAHA EITHER WAY THAT TREE IS AWESOME.

this happened & i don't know how....

i tried responding and it told me i couldnt. the aliens are probably after me.

i saw the sunrise today. it was satisfying.

i promptly went back to sleep.

i became a pro snowflake maker!

this happened about 5 am last saturday night. sunday morning.

whatever.

sorry ive been away so long. 

here's a few weird things that have happened:

1. I DID A NO CARB DIET. it sucked. i will probably never do it again. but... yeah.

2. i finished midterms. what? yeah.

3. i visited carolyn in chicago! twice! #whoa.

4. my time at epic came to a close. sad. very sad.

5. i became very ambitious and am applying at a new school! it has a 7% acceptance rate. i might die just thinking about it actually. lets move on.

6. MY VERY GOOD FRIEND, STACEY, IS NOW HAPPILY MARRIED! she had a beautiful wedding and she looked beautiful and the whole experience was just real beautiful.

7. i went home and washed my dog.

8. RUSS CAME HOME! hi, russ. he showed me Dr. Horrible. you should probably watch it right........ now.

9. i almost lit on fire in my chemistry (lab? no. it was the) discussion. you can thank electrical engineering for that one.

anyways this year after work i went over to jesse's house where there were lots of people

& lots of food.

kinda the reason i went but um..

haha! totally kidding.

 jesse was very excited as you can tell..

on sunday my small group & i had our FIRST hang out day at my house!

it was a great turn out except.. i was the only girl.

best part: she walks in with her packer get up & goes,

"oh... no one is wearing packer clothes... i thought this was a packer party.."

then kyle put a bag on his head & we all yelled at him...

later lauren & i went to starbucks & she pulled this out of her backpack & told

me she accidentally stole it from art class last year. we don't know what to do with it. priceless.

ps see how weird it looks outside the window? yeah there was a HUGE thunderstorm & we didnt 

have jackets.

this is the part of the blog where i update you with all the recent photos from my phone. 

this first one is my stats teacher. it's not the best picture obviously... but you may

be able to tell that she is wearing a hat/pigtails/headband.

it was western day.

i think someone needs to ban teachers from participating.

this next one is a VERY good friend of mine. 

i introduce you to one of the many caitlin faces. caitlin goes to school in Missouri (boo)

so i don't get to see her. good thing we're pen pals!

i love him & stuff but honestly this picture scares me.

i do not know what was going on here but i know it involved frank, pepper, and a 

spiderman towel so clearly this is a happy picture.

i had coffee with HER the other day!!!

& i loved it.

this is stacey. she's pretty cool. ;)

so one time, my good friend carolyn & i went to visit our other friend cory at his house!

cory goes to UWW (1 hour away) & so we never get to see him.

the problem was he was really only home for his brother's birthday (ironically, the same 

day as jesse & frank's) but we REALLY wanted to see him so we stopped in with a 

card & candy bar for his brother. that's normal right? anyway it was very super extremely

awkward because we didn't know any of his family & we just stood in his back yard.

we left after about 4 minutes. 

anyway to relieve the tension we treated ourselves to pie & all was well in the world

of carolyn & julia. we both got our favorites, me: oreo, carolyn: peanut butter.
